Obsession: Bikes presents the Return of the Ripper
in conjunction with MEC’s 2011 Bikefest
June 3, 4 & 5, 2011 will be the ‘weekend of the bike’ as we gather at Inter River Park in North Vancouver and celebrate the world we live in—the world of mountain biking. Obsession: Bikes is, as the name implies, obsessed with bikes, and we will be bringing it all together for an action packed weekend of racing and biking that the whole family can enjoy.
This year we are putting together a series of events that are more like the Rippers of a few years ago. Three ‘rides’ that celebrate the trail, bikes and friends that make up the great sport that we love. At the end of the weekend a Ripper King, Queen and Team will be crowned—determined by the best results in all 3 events. Plus, the King and Queen will have to compete on the same bike in each event—including the same wheels. The Ripper Team will be the team that performs best in the Specialized Super D.
